I was worn out every single day I came home during preplanning AND the first week of school. With so many people out these first few months of school (the other AP is on maternity leave, her secretary had surgery and is out for a few weeks, AND my secretary's position was cut) I really had a lot more responsibilities than ever before. I am proud to say that I made it through the first week of school, but without all the encouragement from our teachers, I don't think I could have done it :)Lianna Knighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06696141854827043716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6126619237722593304.post-20175796765420552532010-08-25T21:46:55.396-05:002010-08-25T21:46:55.396-05:00Oh' my! I had a parent call and ask for me to fax her a list of her daughter's teacher's e-mail addresses and an hour later she called me back b/c I hadn't faxed them yet. What she didn't know is I'd had 2 students come in with schedule changes, a student in crying, a parent (that actually interviewed for my job as the same time I interviewed) and her son come for me to put in his schedule b/c he wasn't there the first day of school, so he was counted as a no show and his schedule was taken out by our Principal (she was mad and rude to me!!! Probably had more to do with the job thing. I didn't know she had interviewed until my Principal told me later). Then several phone calls... records requests, a parent upset b/c the coach told him he couldn't be in athletics this year! This was all before 9 and within an hour! NEVER a dull moment! :) I know you understand!

Morgan's school situation has been VERY smooth. She loves it! Kennedy has been grouchy after school and still cries a little when we first drive up to school. She always tells me that she missed me and she was sad! Breaks my heart! I ask a TON of questions, but do you REALLY know?

I was literally exhausted last week b/c Jason was not getting home until midnight b/c of two a days so I was doing it alone and on Saturday I felt like I was about to fall over! Jason's home this week and it's so much better!

I just know it's going to get easier for Emma and she is going to love it! I hope and pray that you will all feel peace SOON!!Whitneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03661677776661468224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6126619237722593304.post-9388586275039891952010-08-25T11:13:33.699-05:002010-08-25T11:13:33.699-05:00Dear Emma Lou,
