i {heart} my job!

We had a pep rally at school today and it was a blast for the kids and adults. Our leadership team decided to surprise the kids with a little dance. What started out as fun ended up being pretty darn serious. 4 practices, dress rehearsal, make up application, Goodwill shopping and about 24-8 counts later ~ our kids thought we ROCKED and so did I!

Talk about fun, this was so much fun and I know there is more to come. We set the gym on fire when we rose up from our graves this morning and entertained our student body with, THRILLER. In case you are wondering I am the zombie on the floor with the maroon bandanna around my head.

There were so many people who stepped outside of their comfort zone to make this happen for our kids and that is what it is all about in education. Doing whatever it takes to serve kids and I feel like we made huge strides with our kiddos today in Bulldog country!
