I don't know what it is ~ part of me wonders if she knows we are getting close to bringing her baby brother into the world or if it is just a phase. Emma has always been very close to her Daddy and he is 100% a hands on Daddy and does as much as I do, probably more to be real honest with you. However, she does not want much to do with him these days either. I think his feelings are really hurt too.So tonight at bath time, I decided to introduce Emma to the potty. I sat down in the floor in front of it and she came over and very attentively listened as I explained, this was her potty and from now on when she had to go potty she needed to tell Mommy and we would let her go in there instead of using her diaper. We were getting ready to take a bath, so I took all her clothes off and invited her to have a seat. Being the outgoing child that she is, she got right on it and sat down and just kept saying, "potty, potty, potty". Within 2 minutes she had used her potty and she was yelling for Daddy to come and see. She was so proud of herself. Her Daddy came running in and gave her a sticker, of course we told her good job and how proud we were of her.
I wish you could have all seen exactly how PROUD she was of herself. I just kept hugging her, telling her she was a big girl and I was so PROUD to be her Mommy.
As we were getting Emma ready for night night time and changing her into her sleep diaper, I took her in the bathroom to let her try again. Keep in mind this was only about 1 1/2 hours after she had gone previously. I took her pajama bottoms and diaper off and she attempted to get on again, only backwards this time. We got her turned around the right way and Daddy and I sat there and talked to her for less than 2 minutes and she went again. Needless to say, we had lots to celebrate today.
Oh, I can not wait for Little Gavin to get here and join our family.

Random fact...I order quite a few of Emma's clothes from a place called Eden's Bouquet. This is one of my most recent purchases, except ours has a Magnolia vine on it. Needless to say, anything from Eden's is fabulous and I am in love with every piece of clothing we have purchased from there. I am not normally a name dropper, but I found out today that the man that was doing all the screen printing for Eden's is the PREGNANT man. The one we have been seeing on TV that is pregnant again with baby #2. Is that crazy or what? The owner shared this information with me today and posted it on her blog...I have since looked at her blog and the information is gone, perhaps she thought it was too controversial to have on her blog. Needless to say, she will be finding a new person to do all her screen printing from now on.
Last, but certainly not least...if you have not signed up for my giveaway that will end Saturday morning, it is not too late. Just click on the link below, read the post if you are interested, leave your name and you will be signed up to win one of the heirloom ornaments. They are beautiful.

This week is going by so fast and next week is Thanksgiving...I am so excited to be off and spend extra time with my sweet little family. Next Thanksgiving, we will be the Frazier Four ~ I can't wait!
She was not wanting to smile when I asked her if I could take her picture.
I kept telling her to go stand over there against the wall, well she did just that...it was so funny, I really just intended for her to stand in the general area.
At the end she decided to strike a pose, but would never look at me. It was hilarious...she would squat down, put her hands on her knees and say, "cheese".
And yes, every case of Cokes was picked up by the students that sold them between the hours of 8-12 today with the exception of 24 cases. I have a huge smile on my face because it is over, we profited about $20,000 and my kids far exceeded my expectations in every area when it came to this fundraiser. Way to go Class of 2009, you guys are awesome and I am so PROUD to be your Assistant Principal.
After that was all said and done, I met up with the HOTY and "Itty Bitty" for about 45 minutes to see them before I went to get my haircut. They were out running errands and picking up Baby Gavin's bedding that is already completed and oh so cute. I will have to share that with you when we get the Nursery all painted. When I left getting my haircut, I called and my sweet family was still in the area, so we decided to meet up for some Frozen Yogurt.
My friend Tedra had been telling us about this place called Swirll that we needed to check out, so today was our first day to make a visit and it was awesome. They had everything you could imagine and it was a do-it-yourself kind of place.

It was a busy Saturday, but a very productive one for me. All in all, it was a great day and life is good. I know and have read of so many great things happening to and for people lately and that makes my heart smile.

I am very excited about our photo shoot and I look forward to seeing all of our photos and creating the perfect Christmas Card to send to our family and friends this Holiday Season.

Emma with Addy, this is Ra-Ra's middle child and Emma's favorite. I know we are not suppose to have a favorite, but this child is "one of a kind" and so sweet to Emma.
These are the 2 little boys across the street waiting to go Trick or Treating themselves.
Here she is... the cutest little dog I have ever seen. I am so glad that I allowed Emma to be something she really wanted to be for Halloween. I just wonder what it will be next year?
I hope that all of you have a great week. Please remember to go and vote if you did not participate in early Voting. I will be standing in line on Tuesday. The HOTY has already voted, but I never found time to sneak away and get that done. In the meantime, I will continue to pray over the election and hope that my candidate is chosen.
